Team Riders

Errant is in a fortunate position to be able to support some of Europe's best up and coming surfers. With no government funding, tomorrow's top surfers fully rely on sponsorship. Here at Errant, not only do we help with cash but, with a number of coaching and travelling schemes in place, and coming up, we want these guys to fulfil their dreams. So take a moment to read up on the history of the future.

Harry Timson

Having surfed since the age of three, Harry, now into his "Senior" year of eleven years old, has been ripping in 2006.  This year's results read like some kind of wish list on most kids' Christmas list. Having won the English Championships (u12), Fat Face Night Surf, Billabong British Nationals, Headworx Welsh Open, Gul Newquay Open and the B.P.S.A. UK tour champion, Harry looks set to go big in the next few years. When Harry isn't surfing at Fistral or Watergate Bay, he can be found hanging out at the Errant surf school in Newquay. Josh Hughes

Josh first surfed at the age of six after moving to Newquay from Portsmouth. Since then he has competed in National and British events, this year taking 4th in the U16 at the Billabong British Championships and 2nd in the Welsh Nationals. Josh is currently ranked 2nd on the British tour. Amongst all this he is also on the British team and hoping to be selected for the world juniors. Josh competed for Wales in the European junior championships. Josh loves to travel and has been lucky enough to meet great people and surf amazing waves. His favourite  trip was to Northern Spain with Harry Timson and a few others, surfing perfect waves with no-one around. Next year, Josh is aiming to compete on the ASP pro junior tour in Europe where he hopes to push his surfing to the next level competing against the best. Errant will be helping him at every stage. Aside from surfing Josh loves film-making, writing, photography and other water sports.

Ben Haworth

Another lucky fella, whose Dad got him into surfing at the age of three, Ben has been hooked on the art of longboarding ever since. Nurtured into competition through numerous club events run by the Hotdoggers in North Devon, Ben's latest career highlight includes second place at this year's European championships held in Spain - not to mention winning the prestigious British Longboard Union Tour. Ben will be cruising the points of Morocco this winter, so keep an eye out for his silky smooth drop knee turns. Ben's website benhaworthsurfer.co.uk

Jack Latham-Byrne

Jack is one of our older members in the team, but at 19 years old he is proving himself in and out of the water. Well known as one of the pesky groms at Watergate Bay, Jack has stepped into his adult surfing career with passion and a new-found flow. You will be more likely to see Jack roaming the globe more and more in the near future.

Tom Good

At fourteen years old, Tom Good has had more podium places then most kids his age have had hot dinners. At the age of thirteen Tom had already collected a British title and English title to name but a few of this wins. Tom is one of the most focused groms on the team and with the help of his dad/coach Tony Good his future as a pro surfer is a bright one.
